An imperative sentence has an understood subject (you),and the verb (shut) is the simple form.so shut the door=(you) shut the door
1.Turn right at the corner
2.Shut the door
3.Please shut the door
4.Shut the door please!!
Notes:
An imperative sentence can be used to give direction .as in (1)
An imperative can be used to give order ,as in (20
It can also be used to make polite request as in ,when the world please is added

There are two ways expressing imperative(command)
Positive command (infinitive+object)
-mind your stept
-mop the floor
-brush your teeth
-wash your hand
Negative command(do not + invinitive+object)
-Don’t walk hurriedly
-Don’t throw rubbish into the river
-Do’t smooke
Subject +may not infinitive+object
-you may not walk on the wet floor
-you may not drink cold water too much
Subject+much not+infinitive+object
-You much not let your room
-you much not eat contaminated food
